The Hoiho (yellow eyed penguin) is a threatened bird of New Zealand, uncommon to see, usually gulping down fish far out a sea, or hiding in the sand dunes at sunset.  It is only found in the South Island.  I have been lucky to photograph these secretive birds, whilst venturing around the wild beaches of Dunedin.

This sculpture was made by hand-stitching hundreds of tiny threads in layers.

Carefully pinned, and encased in a white boxed frame, using high grade glass that offers ultimate clarity, with reduced reflection and has 99% UV protection from the sun to help protect your art.

Size is:  25 x 25 x 4.5cm depth.

Framed and ready to be hung.  Each embroidery comes with its own signed certificate of authenticity.
