Wonky Carrots 3D Thread Sculpture.

The humble carrot is a common sight at the vegetable store, supermarket in its seemingly perfect straight orange form.  The organic carrots in my garden once lifted, were an intriguing sight of twisted roots, hairy fibres and stangely shaped structures that I have tried to portray into these sculptures.

Layer upon layer of tiny stitches make up a delicate network of sculpted threadwork and crochet using a large variety of fibres.

Professionally framed using a white boxed frame and high grade glass. This offers ultimate clarity, with reduced reflection, and has 99% UV protection from the sun.

Measures:  33cm Height x 78.5cm Width x 6cm depth.
