The Poor Knights Islands near New Zealand are home to many incredible species, such as molluscs, where I found great inspiration for this embroidery. This piece is of a sea lemon egg sac, made up of thousands of tiny eggs. Based on the species Fiona Pinnata. The eggs are laid in amazing wavy, delicate floral formations. Each egg mass laid, contains around 35,000 eggs!
Professionally framed using a white boxed frame and high grade glass. This offers ultimate clarity, with reduced reflection, and has 99% UV protection from the sun.
Measures: 34cm x 30cm x 5cm depth. Framed and ready to be hung.
Each artwork comes with its own signed certificate of authenticity.
