New Zealand entoloma fungi 3D Thread Sculpture.

This piece is my sculptural embroidery versions of five different species of fungi that are found throughout New Zealand's forests, in particular mixed broadleaf podocarp forests.  From left:

Entoloma hochstetteri (werewere kokako) , Chlorociboria (emerald elf cups), Hygrocybe conica, Entoloma perzonatum, Entoloma canoconicum.  

Each fungi is carefully pinned to perspex, and encased in a clear acrylic box like a preserved specimen.

Depth:  7cm.

Ready for hanging straight onto the wall. Each piece comes with its own signed certificate of authenticity.
