This piece is my sculptural embroidery version of the Coprinus atramentarius - or commonly known as the Ink cap mushroom, found all over New Zealand.
Each mushroom is carefully pinned to perspex, with a custom made clear aryclic backing, and encased in a clear acrylic box like a preserved specimen.
This measures:
Height: 22cm
Width: 38cm
Depth: 10cm.
Ready for hanging straight onto the wall. Each piece comes with its own certificate of authenticity.
