Fungi of New Zealand 3D Fibre Art #23.

This piece is my sculpted thread versions of some of the incredible fungi species found throughout New Zeland forests.

From left: Cortinarius (elegant blue webcap), and Suillus granulatus (slippery jack) growing amongst pine needles.  

Every fungi I create is meticulously studied and copied from a real specimen, that has been photographed by myself from locations all over New Zealand.

Each mushroom is carefully pinned to perspex, and encased in a clear acrylic box like a preserved specimen.
The box measures:

Width:  22cm

Depth:  10cm.

Ready for hanging straight onto the wall. Each piece comes with its own signed certificate of authenticity.
