This sculpture was inspired by the Banded Rail (moho-pereru) an endemic bird of New Zealand, a shy and secretive waterbird that hides away in marsh, and mangrove habitats.
This is made up of hundreds of tiny stitches, made on a sewing machine, and finished by hand embroidery and sculpted.
It is framed in a white frame, with high grade glass that offers ultimate clarity, with reduced reflection and has 99% UV protection from the sun to help protect your embroidery.
