This piece is my sculpted thread version of the highly toxic and poisonous fungi - the Amanita, found throughout New Zealand, particularly amongst pine forests. Easily recognised with its red cap and white warts.

Every fungi I create are meticulously studied and copied from a real specimen, that has been photographed by myself from locations all over New Zealand.
Each mushroom is carefully pinned to white perspex, and encased in a clear acrylic box like a preserved specimen.

Ready for hanging straight onto the wall. Each piece comes with its own signed certificate of authenticity.
