Karaka bark 3D Thread Sculpture.

I adore trekking through New Zealand's national parks and remote native forests.  I'm attracted to the many textured patterns of bark.  Karaka trees are commonly found in the upper North Island of New Zealand, and I'm very fortunate to have a lot on my property to study.  This sculpture was inspired by a very old Karaka tree on a hike near my home.  

Professionally framed using a white boxed frame and museum grade glass. This offers ultimate clarity, with reduced reflection, and has 99% UV protection from the sun.

Measures:  40cm wide x 58cm height x 4.5cm depth.
