Inkcap Fungi 3D Thread Sculpture #3.

This piece is my sculpted thread version of the Coprinus atramentarius - or commonly known as the Ink cap mushroom, found all over New Zealand, particularly in mulch gardens early in the morning before the sun gets too hot.

Every fungi I create is meticulously copied from a real specimen, that has been photographed by myself from many locations all over New Zealand.

Each mushroom is carefully pinned to perspex, and encased in a clear acrylic box like a preserved specimen.

Depth:  10cm.

Ready for hanging straight onto the wall.  Each piece comes with its own certificate of authenticity.
