Fungi of New Zealand 3D Thread Sculpture #18.

This piece is my sculpted thread version of four different species of fungi that are found throughout New Zealand's forests, in particular mixed broadleaf podocarp forests. 

From left:

Chlorociboria (green elf cup) on a piece of textured bark, Entoloma hochstetteri (werewere kokako), Tiny mycena growing out of a ball of dirt and moss, Russula.

Each fungi is carefully pinned to perspex, and encased in a clear acrylic box like a preserved specimen.

This measures:

Height:  21cm

Width:  30cm

Depth:  7cm.

Ready for hanging straight onto the wall. Each piece comes with its own signed certificate of authenticity.
