Fungi of New Zealand 3D Thread Sculpture #17.

This piece is my sculpted thread version of some of the incredible fungi found throughout New Zealand's forests.

From left:  Chlorociboria (emerald elf cups,  Mycena - growing out of fresh moss, Suillus (slippery jack), Hygrocybe - growing out of a clump of dirt and bark, Russula. 

Every fungi I create is meticulously studied and copied from a real specimen, that has been photographed by myself from locations all over New Zealand.
Each mushroom is carefully pinned to white perspex, and encased in a clear acrylic box like a preserved specimen.

Depth:  10cm.

Ready for hanging straight onto the wall. Each piece comes with its own signed certificate of authenticity.
