This piece is my sculptural embroidery version of five different species of fungi that are found throughout New Zealand's forests. From left:
Werewere kokako , Chlorociboria (emerald elf cups), Hygrocybe conica, Entoloma personatum, Hygrocybe miniata.
Each fungi is carefully pinned to perspex, and encased in a clear acrylic box like a preserved specimen.
This measures:
Height: 21cm
Width: 30cm
Depth: 7cm.
Ready for hanging straight onto the wall. Each piece comes with its own signed certificate of authenticity.
