The Australasian Gannet or (Tākapu) is a common seabird seen gliding above New Zealand's waters. In particular around Muriwai, where there is a permanent colony of gannets that breed there successfully year after year. This piece focuses on the incredible feeding habits of the gannet, where they plunge into water from great heights forming an arrow as they hit the water whilst diving for fish.
