Tui 3D Thread Sculpture. #2

This Tui sculptural embroidery was inspired by the iconic bird of our country.  A very boisterous native to New Zealand, with its dazzling blue, green, and bronze plumage and distinctive white throat tuft.  I am lucky enough to have a healthy garden full of these incredibly attractive birds around my garden. This piece was made using many types of stitch-work to give a 3-dimensional appearance.

Professionally framed using a white boxed frame and high grade glass. This offers ultimate clarity, with reduced reflection, and has 99% UV protection from the sun.
