Northern Rata leaves (metrosideros robusta) are a beautiful sight in summer and winter.  I tried to capture their ever changing colours, and tiny caterpillar holes.

Layer upon layer of tiny stitches make up a delicate network of sculptural embroidery.

Professionally framed using a natural oak boxed frame and high grade glass. This offers ultimate clarity, with reduced reflection, and has 99% UV protection from the sun.
