I was inspired by the Pukeko (swamp hen), for this beautiful embroidery, a common and attractive bird of New Zealand, which has in fact, one of my favourite chicks of all time - little balls of black fluff.
The embroidery is made up of hundreds of tiny stitches, made on a sewing machine, and finished by hand embroidery.
The embroidery is framed in a white frame, and is mounted onto foam board, and uses high grade glass that offers ultimate clarity with reduced reflection and has 99% UV protection from the sun to help protect your embroidery.
Measures: 23x 22x 4.5cm depth. Framed and ready to be hung.
Each artwork comes with its own signed certificate of authenticity.
