This piece is my sculptural embroidery version of two different species of lichens found north of Auckland.  Xanthoria parietina - sunburst lichen, and Ramalina celastri - Cartilage lichen.  

Carefully pinned onto perspex, and encased in a clear acrylic box like preserved museum specimens.

This measures:

Height:  18cm

Width:  12cm

Depth:  10cm.

Ready for hanging straight onto the wall. Each piece comes with its own certificate of authenticity.
