I was inspired by the Sacred Kingfisher (Kotare) an endemic NZ bush bird, for this beautiful embroidery.  This piece shows the stunning turquoise and cream feather colours of the male Kotare during breeding season.

This is made up of hundreds of tiny stitches, made on a sewing machine, and finished by hand embroidery.

The embroidery is framed in a white frame, and is mounted onto foam board.

High grade glass offers ultimate clarity, with reduced reflection and has 99% UV protection from the sun to help protect your embroidery.

Size is:  23x 22x 4.5cm depth. Framed and ready to be hung.
