The Kina (evechinus chloroticus) is a sea urchin and is endemic to New Zealand. Traditionally eaten as a favoured food choice of the Maori, they are considered a delicacy in today's society. I love the shell's varied green shades, shapes and sizes and the incredible patterns.
Professionally framed using a white boxed frame and high grade glass. This offers ultimate clarity, with reduced reflection, and has 99% UV protection from the sun.
