The Flight of the cicada was inspired by masses of cicada wings that litter the ground at the end of summer, from the Chorus Cicada.   I love the patterns of these wings, and tried to mimic the vein formation in this embroidery.

Professionally framed using a white boxed frame and high grade glass. This offers ultimate clarity, with reduced reflection, and has 99% UV protection from the sun.

Measures:  33cm width x 30cm high x 3.5cm depth. Framed and ready to be hung.

Each artwork comes with its own signed certificate of authenticity.
