Dahlia. 3D Thread Sculpture.

I have plenty of gorgeous dahlia flowers in my gardens, and in particular love this species.  This dahlia sculpture was inspired by the 'nepos' dahlia variety.  It features delicate lilac-pink florets that fade to cream/yellow in the centre.  Layer upon layer of tiny petals form this flower, that is created into a large 3d sculpture, and embroidered by hand and fine wire.

Professionally framed using a white boxed frame and museum grade glass. This offers ultimate clarity, with reduced reflection, and has 99% UV protection from the sun.
