Huia feather sculptural embroidery

The stunning Huia feather is a New Zealand icon of a very special bird species that became extinct in the 20th century.  The feather were a prized possession, particularly the tail feathers.  The Maori symbolised them with leadership and mana.

This piece is hand made in New Zealand.  Made up of hundreds and thousands of tiny stitches and sculpted onto pins.

Professionally framed using a white boxed frame and high grade glass. This offers ultimate clarity, with reduced reflection, and has 99% UV protection from the sun.
