Coastal bindweed 3D Thread Sculpture.

This Coastal bindweed sculptural embroidery is hand made in New Zealand.

I was inspired by the tiny leaves found on one of my favourite beaches. The leaves for the Coastal bindweed are from the bindweed family, and grow in and around the sand.

This is made up of hundreds of tiny stitches, made on a sewing machine, and finished by hand embroidery.

The embroidery is framed in a white frame, using 100% high grade, quality glass, and is mounted onto foam board.
Size is: 28 x28 x4.5cm depth.
