Bull Kelp seaweed 3D Thread Sculpture.

This embroidery is based upon the Bull Kelp seaweed (Durvillaea antarctica)- one of my favourite seaweeds of New Zealand.  

They are large and robust, with a strong structure that helps them survive in the roughest of seas.

It is completely hand made in New Zealand, and made up of hundreds and thousands of tiny stitches.

Professionally framed using a "white" boxed frame and high grade museum glass. This offers ultimate clarity, with reduced reflection, and has 99% UV protection from the sun.

Measures:  36cm x 31cm x 4.5cm depth.  Framed and ready to be hung.

Each artwork comes with its own signed certificate of authenticity.
