This piece is my sculptural embroidery version of the Birch bolete, (leccinum scabrum).  It is an introduced species, and can be found throughout New Zealand.  

Each mushroom is carefully pinned to perspex, and encased in a clear acrylic box like a preserved specimen.

This measures:

Height:  21cm

Width:  22cm

Depth:  7.5cm.

Ready for hanging straight onto the wall. Each piece comes with its own certificate of authenticity.
