Brown Kiwi sculptural embroidery

This sculpture was inspired by the North Island Brown Kiwi (Apteryx australis) the most iconic endemic bird of New Zealand.  If you look closely, you will see the long and distinguishable whiskers, that help the kiwi when navigating at night.

This is made up of hundreds of tiny stitches, made on a sewing machine, and finished by hand embroidery and sculpted.

It is framed in a white frame, with high grade glass that offers ultimate clarity, with reduced reflection and has 99% UV protection from the sun to help protect your embroidery.
