This unique and perfectly camouflaged moth is one of New Zealand's largest species, with a wingspan of up to 15cm. I was lucky enough to find one of these stunning lichen green moths on my property, usually found under Puriri Trees, and I had the chance to study its intricate wing patterns, to photograph it, and began this design based upon a real specimen.
Carefully pinned onto board, and professionally framed using a white boxed frame, with museum grade glass that offers ultimate clarity, with reduced refelection, and has 99% UV protection from the sun.
