This piece is my sculptural embroidery version of the Amanita phalloides (deathcap) highly toxic, a species throughout New Zealand that is often mistaken as an edible species resulting in mushroom-related deaths.
Each mushroom is carefully pinned to perspex, and encased in a clear acrylic box like a preserved specimen.
This measures:
Height: 20cm
Width: 22cm
Depth: 10cm.
Ready for hanging straight onto the wall. Each piece comes with its own signed certificate of authenticity.
