This piece is my sculpted thread version of some of the incredible fungi found throughout New Zealand's forests.
From top left: Cortinarius (elegant blue webcap), Trametes versicolor (Turkey-tail), Laccaria, Russula, Mycena - growing out of moss.
Every fungi I create are meticulously studied and copied from a real specimen, that has been photographed by myself from locations all over New Zealand.
Each mushroom is carefully pinned to white perspex, and encased in a clear acrylic box like a preserved specimen.
This measures:

Depth: 10cm.
Ready for hanging straight onto the wall. Each piece comes with its own signed certificate of authenticity.
