The endemic Variable Oystercatcher (Torea pango) a bird commonly seen and heard at many NZ beaches!  These birds can be seen entirely black or pied (meaning black/white).  

This sculpture is made up of hundreds of tiny stitches, made on a sewing machine, and finished by hand embroidery.

It is professionally framed in a white box frame.

High grade glass offers ultimate clarity, with reduced reflection and has 99% UV protection from the sun to help protect your embroidery.

Size is:  48 x 40 x 4.5cm depth. Framed and ready to be hung.  Each artwork comes with its own signed certificate of authenticity.
